I have been going back and forth about getting a camera bag for a while...it's really hard to purchase a bag online where you can't pick it up and play with it and see if it feels right. I wanted something that wouldn't look like a big bulky camera bag, but could still pack my Camera, extra lens, and all my standard purse items. I narrowed it down to a couple favorites and finally decided to go with the Epiphanie Black Lola bag.
When I finally ordered it I was super excited. $25 for shipping? No problem, just get me my bag! It took a week to arrive and I ripped open the box with glee only to find...the WRONG BAG! I checked the shipping label, the receipt and sure enough it said the correct item but it didn't match up to what was in the box. I was
upset. I looked up the number and called only to find that they were closed for the day and since it was Friday that meant I wouldn't be able to talk to them all weekend. I was more upset now. I emailed them what had happened and stuffed the box that held the abomination of the "bag that was not my bag" out of sight.
When Monday
finally arrived, I had an email from Epiphanie with instructions for sending the bag back as well as a new tracking number for the hopefully correct bag that was shipping out that day. I checked the shipping info and it was also going to take a week to arrive! I think for something that is the company's mistake they should eat the cost of getting the correct item to the customer ASAP.
Another week later I finally received the new shipment and luckily it was correct this time!
What do I think of the bag?

Love the style and the roominess. I can definitely fit a lot in there.
The bottom of the bag is very wide, its bigger than what I would use for an "everyday" bag. But for travelling/photography outings I think its awesome.
I like that the entire inside lining will work with the velcro dividers, so you aren't limited to how you can configure it. I also like that the removable dividers have velcro on three sides so that you won't get something small rolling around on the bottom underneath the dividers.
I don't like that the inside lining doesn't seem to be attached to the bag, so that when you pull out a divider to re-configure the inside you have to sort of smooth the lining back into place.
I also don't like that the charm on the outside is
NOT the same charm that is advertised on the website. The camera charm on all the bags on the website is a much smaller, simpler round charm than what I got and I would much prefer it. I understand that maybe the company wanted to change it up, but if that is what is going out then the photographs of the product on your website should match. I don't think thats too much to ask for.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase even if I'm not totally happy about the entire process. I'm excited to take my Lola out and see how she performs!
